Eighteen rounds, one screen
A rugby union league season is short enough to hold whole and awkward enough to hold in your head: 18 rounds spread from September to June, broken up by autumn internationals and the Six Nations, with a club's matches falling on a Friday one week and a Sunday the next. The grid puts every club down the left and every date across the top, so a column answers "who plays this weekend", a row answers "what does February look like for them", and the whole table answers the one a list cannot: which club has the harder run of the two.
Two leagues are covered — Premiership Rugby, United Rugby Championship — across England, Europe and South Africa, 26 clubs in all, currently the 2026-27 season. Every club plays every other twice, home and away, so a row is the whole competition seen from one side of it. Home and away are marked by colour and by an @ before away opponents, and once a match has been played its final score replaces the matchup.
Kick-off times that are not fixed yet
Rugby publishes its schedule a season ahead and its kick-off times much later, once the broadcasters have chosen — and a match that moves moves day as well as hour. About half of a Premiership season is in that state when it is first published. Rather than print a placeholder you cannot tell from a real time, the grid marks those with a ? and shows the date alone; the time appears as soon as it is settled, because these pages are rebuilt every night rather than published once.
Four countries, three clocks
The United Rugby Championship is the reason the timezone conversion on this site earns its place twice over. Its clubs are Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Italian and South African, so "the league's time" is not one time — a Saturday afternoon in Durban and a Saturday afternoon in Galway are two hours apart, and a schedule that prints one clock is printing the wrong one for somebody. Your timezone is detected and every confirmed kick-off is converted into it, with a manual override in the “Times in” control on each grid.

Frequently asked questions
Which rugby leagues can I see schedules for?
2 leagues: Premiership Rugby, United Rugby Championship. Both are rugby union, both run 18 rounds of a double round-robin, and each has a whole-season grid with every club as a row and every date as a column. Each of the 26 clubs has a schedule page of its own.
Why do some rugby matches show no kick-off time?
Because they have not been decided yet. The full schedule is published a season ahead, but a kick-off time is fixed only once the broadcasters have picked which matches to televise — and that can move a match between Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as change the hour. A match whose time is still open is marked with a ? and shows a date only, rather than a placeholder time you might plan an evening around and then find had changed. It is not the same in both leagues: about half a Premiership season is unfixed when it is published, while the United Rugby Championship publishes its whole season with times already set.
What time do United Rugby Championship matches kick off where I am?
It depends on which of four countries the match is in, which is exactly why the conversion matters here. The URC is a league in two continents: its grounds are in Ireland, the UK, Italy and South Africa, so there is no single league clock to convert out of, and a South African kick-off is two hours ahead of an Irish one. This site detects your timezone and shows every confirmed kick-off in it, with a manual override, and a +1 mark on anything that lands on the following day where you are.
Are the Champions Cup and the play-offs included?
No. A grid here holds one competition: a page titled Premiership Rugby schedule contains league matches and nothing else, so European ties and cup matches stay out of those columns. The end-of-season play-offs are out for a different reason — they are decided round by round as the table settles, so a grid of them would be mostly empty columns until the last week of the regular season.
What does the P column mean?
Matches played, counted over whatever range of the season you are looking at. It is the column that turns a schedule into a comparison: two clubs level on points are not level if one has played two matches more, and the count makes that visible without doing arithmetic.
How current are these schedules?
They are refetched every night from each league's own published schedule, and the pages are rebuilt when something has actually changed — a match moved, a kick-off time confirmed, a final score. Confirmed times replace the ? mark as soon as the broadcasters have chosen.
